About Us

We welcome the opportunity to tell you a little about us! Jim, and myself (Ellen) are the proprietors of Kauai Paradise Inn and are long time residents of Kauai. I arrived as a teenager to finish high school and went on to college to become a registered nurse. Jim arrived in 1989 as an expert carpenter to build some of the finest homes on Kauai. I presently work part time as an aupair for a family near by and Jim continues to work in the building industry. We have three grown children and 5 (!) grandchildren.

We have taken great joy in designing, building and opening the doors to Kauai Paradise Inn in July of 2006. This brand new custom built home is completely comfortable and serene. Every room looks out to an assortment of tropical landscape, mountains, sunshine, moonshine, rainbows and songbirds. The amenities abound with a truly gourmet kitchen, tropical decor, large luxurious bedrooms, master bath suite with soaker tub etc., etc.

Jim and I are on-site proprietors, discreetly seventy feet from the Kauai Paradise Inn and are available 24 hours a day for any of our guests needs. We take great joy in assisting our guests in having an awesome and memorable visit to Kauai.
